Data Capturing a Group's Experience

Pulse of the People began with a conversation with Niamh Gunn. We are asking “What’s happening in Irish people’s hearts right now?” A pilot survey with 150 students in Cork, testing questions around courage, hope, understanding, wishes and feelings. We then tested the survey on a highly rational and intellectual cohort attending a law conference, May 2013. Could they respond to questions around colour, feeling and the body? Results are in the form of drawings, colour choices, word statements and stories. We have extended this research across a selected range of groups at a well-being centre in West Cork. Data visualisation methods compare results by gender, age, location and groups. pulseofthepeople.ie
